A Celebratory Dinner of Fruit, Nuts and Berries at Wilton Castle

  • Wilton Castle Enniscorthy, WX, Y21 V9P9 Ireland (map)

A celebration of Samhain, the end of the harvest season.

This harvest celebration will take place in Wilton Castle, one of Ireland’s hidden gems nestled in a farming valley just outside Enniscorthy town. The celebration will begin under torched lights on the banks of the Boro River with a warm autumnal drink from Anthony O’Toole, a chef and one of Ireland’s Food Champions, and stories from Lorraine O’Dwyer, an enchanting storyteller from Wexford. Then, a long table candle lit feast will take place inside the castle celebrating the bounty of autumn.

What’s Included:

  • Warm apple punch and autumnal snacks on arrival.

  • Storytelling with Celtic Witch and Seanacai, Lorraine O’Dwyer.

  • Long table feast of autumnal dishes and ingredients from the final harvest: Regan Organic pork, winter vegetables, fruit, nuts, berries, cheese.

  • Bean & Goose chocolate sharing slab with a warming tipple.

  • Seasonal drinks: Wexford’s Clever Man beer, autumnal berry cordial, white and red wine.
