Taste Wexford visits Waterford and Cork City
As part of the Immersive Food Tourism Programme, Taste Wexford invited many participants to do a tour of Waterford and Cork City.
The tour included visits to Comeragh Mountain Farm, Dungarvan Brewing Company, Imperial Hotel, L’Attiude 51, Café Paradiso and Fab Food Trails tour of Cork city.
On 31 January and 1 February, Taste Wexford’s planned trip took place, for some training participants taking part in the food tourism programme. First stop on the tour was to Waterford to the Comeragh Mountain Farm and Dungarvan Brewing Company. Then we went onto Cork City to the iconic Imperial Hotel. Then L’Atitude 51, Café Paradiso and Fab Food Trails tour of Cork city.
Comeragh Mountain Farm
Comeragh Mountain Farm are a small holding with a big heart and an holistic / permacultural approach to farming. They have a passion for wholesome, homegrown and homemade quality foods and love to share it with others. Clotilde and team produce mixed salad leaves, rocket, spinach, kale and other seasonal vegetables free from chemicals and pesticides. As well as doing farm tours throughout the year, you can find them at farmers market in across Waterford along with some menus across the region.

Dungarvan Brewing Company
Brewing since 2010, Dungarvan Brewing Company is a well established and highly regarded microbrewery in the south east of Ireland, which has become part of the fabric of life in the coastal town. The brewery grew out of a love of beer and brewing, and the desire to see a return to brewing in the town of Dungarvan. Claire (below) and team produce some of the best bottle-conditioned ales and stout in Ireland along with a fun range of limited edition beers.
They open up their brewery for tours and events throughout the year.

Imperial Hotel

L’Atitude 51 Wine Café
