The Wild Table "Taste the Story" is on the last Sunday of July, otherwise known as 'Garland Sunday' a time when people gathered on hilltops all over Ireland to celebrate the first fruits of the harvest with food and drink and the lighting of bonfires.
Three friends have joined forces for an evening of wild food, fermented drinks and stories of food history
They can't promise bonfires but they definitely will be celebrating fruit and wild plants through their communal table. Perhaps you might like to make a simple garland?
